Delivery & Returns

Here at Autobrite Direct we aim to dispatch your goods within 72 hours of you placing your order, depending on stock items and availability.  On the rare occasion we do not have one of the products in stock we will email you and hold your order back until we can send it out as a complete order.

The below postcodes are classed as Scottish Highlands therefore they will incurr a higher shipping charge.

Scottish Highlands Postcodes,

FK17-99 ,G83, IV1-28, IV33-39, IV52-54, IV63, KW1-14, PA21-33, PA34-40, PH18-26, PH30, PH31-41, PH49-50.

Scottish Islands Postcodes,

HS1-9, IV40-51, IV55-56, KA27-28, KW15-17, PA20, PA41-49, PA60-78, PH42-44, ZE1-3.

All shipping costs are based on the weight of your order.

All parcels will be sent with DPD Courier service on a 1-3 day delivery service. Same day despatch cut off time is 1pm. All deliveries will require a signature as proof of delivery, if there is no one present to sign for your parcel, you will be left a calling card from the DPD driver. There is a contact number on this card which you will have to ring to re-schedule your delivery. It is your responsibilty to contact DPD to re-schedule your delivery for a convenient day when there will be somebody available to sign for your parcel. After two delivery attempts without a signature the parcel will be returned to us. It can be dispatched again at an extra cost to yourself. You will be sent your tracking number via email conformation upon the dispatch of your order. You can track and trace the status of your order by clicking the DPD picture below. This will take you to the DPD website.

DPD Predict - Our One Hour Delivery Window

DPD will provide you with a one hour delivery window so you don't have to wait in all day for your  parcel!

When DPD deliver for you:

  • You are given a one hour delivery window

  • You are notified of this by text or email (you must state either of these when you order with Autobrite Direct)

  • If the delivery date is not convenient, you can use the text or email to change it

  • All correspondence from DPD to you ensuring a safe and fast delivery of your parcel

Smaller parcels weighing no more than 1kg will be sent first class with Royal Mail.

Please ensure that you enter the correct delivery details on your order, we can only send orders to the address that you have provided us with. Once you have placed your order we cannot change any delivery details.

Please note that some postcode areas will incur an extra day for your parcel to arrive.

Delivery  is made on working days only and does not include weekends and bank holidays.

Damaged Goods

If goods are damaged or faulty please inform us within 3 working days of receiving your order.

All parcels received must be checked for damage & leakage Before you sign!  In any cases where you suspect there is any damage to the package you can refuse delivery (you must state your reason) and have it sent back to Autobrite Direct. It is the Customer's responsibility to check all goods for damage and to make a written note of any damage on the carrier's paperwork before signing for acceptance of said goods. Once goods have been signed for the Seller cannot accept any liability for damage since a clean signature invalidates any claim against the carrier. We will replace free of charge any goods lost in transit once we have received confirmation from the carrier that the goods are indeed lost. We will repair or replace free of charge goods damaged in transit provided that we receive written notification and photographic evidence of such damage within two days of delivery and goods received in a damaged or unsatisfactory condition have been signed for as such. No damaged items will be replaced without photographic evidence.  On receipt, goods should be checked against the enclosed invoice. Any shortages must be notified to us within 24 hours of receipt of goods, otherwise no liability can be accepted. The packing and contents should be retained for inspection.

Faulty goods

Should your product be found faulty the product must be returned to Autobrite on a return to base policy for the product to inspected.

  • Should the goods be verified to be faulty, Autobrite will either:
    • Deliver a replacement free of charge, or
    • Refund the price you paid for the goods if replacement is not required.
  • We are unable to issue any refund until the goods have been inspected.
  • Please include your customer reference number and contact details with the returned goods.
  • If fuel has been added to the product this must be fully drained off prior to collection or the item may be refused.
  • Your legal rights are not affected In the event that a product you purchased on-line or mail order develops a fault during its guarantee, usually 12-months from purchase date, we may offer repair, exchange or refund as appropriate. Your legal rights are not affected. Please contact the Customer Care department* for further assistance.

Information on International Deliverys

At Autobrite Direct we do ship to International destinations.

All international shipping costs will be based on the weight of the consignment,

International orders are sent via UPS, TNT or DHL and The Royal Mail and in order to get a shipping quote you will need to contact us by phone or email. Delivery times will take up to approx 5 working days depending on what country you are in. All international orders have a unique tracking number and this will be available upon request.

Please Note!!  In order to receive the correct shipping quote for your destination you need to select the correct country from the list available. if you are in any doubt please email us and we can advise you accordingly.

Saturday Delivery (Optional)

We do have a option for a Saturday delivery depending on certain postcodes. This information is available on request. All orders must be received before 1pm on the preceeding Friday.

Returns Information

Under the United Kingdom's Distance Selling Regulations, the Customer has the right to cancel the contract for the purchase of any item within a period of 7 working days, beginning with the day after the day on which the item is delivered. Goods must be returned to the Seller at the Customer's own expense and arrive in "as new" condition, upon which a refund will be issued for the full value of the goods (any postage/packaging costs paid by the Customer are non-refundable, unless the goods supplied by the Seller are faulty.) Goods so returned must be in resaleable condition, appropriately packed, carriage paid and accompanied by a copy of the sales invoice/correspondence with the Seller in relation to the return.

It is advisable to use a shipping method that requires a signature upon delivery, since proof of sending will not constitute proof of receipt of any returned item.

Collections At Our Store

If you select the Store Pickup option at checkout, no shipping charge will be applied and your order will be held at our premises in Lowfield Drive , Wolstanton, Staffordshire for collection during the business day (we can sometimes accomodate an early evening collection). Please contact us beforehand (by phone or email) to advise us of your intended collection date/time so we can ensure your order is ready for you and there is somebody at the premises, thank you.

Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment (WEEE) - UK only.

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. Much of the UKs WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health.

We offer a free "take-back" service for any item covered (such as pressurewashers) under the WEEE regulations when you make an equivalent purchase from us. For example if you purchase a new pressure washer from us we will take back your old one at no extra cost and have it recycled safely. The old item should be returned to us within 28 days at your own cost if you use a courier service or you can return it to our unit at : Unit 803, Centre 500, Lowfield Drive, Wolstanton, Staffs. ST5 0UU.

All new electrical goods will now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol and should be disposed of safely at a proper recycling facility and not with normal household waste that they can be recycled.
