The course is run by our resident AD addict and detailing enthusiast Clive alongside our in-house professional detailer and trainer Kev! Between them, they will take you through all aspects of car care and valeting. This car course is the epitome of hands-on and practical learning! All attendees will get a chance to try out all of the methods and techniques that are being taught.
Our “Back 2 Basics” group training course is highly popular and as such the course regularly sells out within minutes of being announced. Courses take place monthly from February to October and cost just £60 for a full day’s training!
Many of our attendees have gone on to undergo further 1-2-1 training and a small few have since become professional valeters & detailers. It’s the perfect introduction to detailing, whether you are taking part to simply learn how to properly care for your own vehicle or whether you are wanting to build a foundation for future learning – “Back 2 Basics” is here to show you the ropes. WHAT HAPPENS ON THE DAY?
During your course, we will cover the following car care topics
- Autobrite Direct product knowledge & dilution ratios
- Thorough wheel cleaning and decontamination
- Decontamination, pre-wash & washing procedures including the two bucket wash method
- Exterior finishing including, sealant, wax & dressing application
- Introduction to machine polishing for enhancement and correction
- Have your questions answered throughout the day by our experts
- Discounted purchases are available in our car care superstore to attendees on the day
