This kit is perfect for those tougher jobs, or for preparing a car for machine polishing. With this kit you can eradicate tar, iron, overspray and tough grime from your car’s exterior prior to machining.
Purple Rain version 3 is a new intensive pH balanced (pH 6-7) iron-contaminate remover that removes contaminants upon contact for deeper exterior cleaning. One of our best-selling wheel cleaner products, Purple Rain brakes down brake dust that can be damaging and unsightly, leaving vehicles looking unmarred and fresh. Always use on cool tyres for the best results. The fast-acting reactive gel-based formula clings to surfaces and rapidly breaks down industrial fallout, baked-on brake dust, and iron particulate contamination. These iron contaminates begin to embed themselves into the surface under high temperatures or over time, and can eventually cause damage to painted surfaces. Purple Rain 3 is suitable for all exterior paintwork, glass, painted aluminium alloy wheels, clear coated alloy wheels, stainless steel, plastic panels, exhausts tips, and even rubber surfaces – anywhere iron contaminates can adhere. Purple Rain 3 also contains cleaners and degreasers to help cut through dirt and grime, the thick gel formula creates a high foaming reactive spray that sticks to the surface & penetrates dirt/grime, making contamination easy to simply rinse away.
Just The Tonic Tar & Glue remover is an excellent, fast acting solvent-based product that quickly dissolves tar upon contact. Removing even the most stubborn, heavy deposits of tar from the car with ease. Its fast acting formula works so well on contact the tar simply dissolves before your eyes.
Just The Tonic is also effective at removing transport wax, glue residue from stickers from windows and not many people know this but if you have an ink or oil stain on your carpet in your car, Just The Tonic will remove them with ease! Just The Tonic will even break down and remove chewing gum from carpets and interiors, a top tip there from AD! When used after a safe wash as part of the chemical decontamination process, Just the tonic’s quick reaction time allows for less contact when removing the tar from the car. This means no heavy scrubbing or scraping is required ! This is a massive bonus and an extremely effective way of removing contaminants such as tar. Quick Shine QD is a highly versatile product that can be used as a spray wax, waterless wash, show detailer and a clay bar lubricant and can be diluted to suit your needs. Quick Shine is safe to be used in direct sunlight and on all surfaces including plastic, chrome, wheels & paintwork,. A fantastic Parma Violet is now added and a pleasure to use.

How to use
The Autobrite Direct Decontamination kit is designed to remove all the bonded contaminants from your vehicles paintwork that washing alone will not remove.
The decontamination process begins once the vehicle has been thoroughly cleaned of all loose debris, road grime and dirt.
Just The Tonic Tar and Glue remover – Apply a light mist of JTT to the vehicle looking for any black trails indicating tar dissolving, we recommend working panel by panel. Apply JTT then using a clean microfibre lightly wipe the surface to lift away the dissolving tar, once the tar has been removed rinse the area thoroughly to remove any residual product. Large particles of tar may require multiple applications due the the density of these deposits. Care should always be taken not to allow any solvent based products to dry on any surface, with particular caution needed on unpainted plastics and rubber.
Purple Rain 3.0 fallout remover can be used on both the vehicles wheels and paintwork to remove iron contaminants. Spray liberally onto the vehicle, allow to dwell for approx 3-5 mins or until a purple reaction can be seen. If no reaction is observed then no iron based contaminants are present. Once the product has reached a dark purple colour the reaction is complete and the product should then be rinsed off with a pressure washer.
Berry Blast Quick detailer and clay lubricant. To use this product as a clay bar lubricant we recommend diluting to approx 10-1, (100ml of product per 1 litre of clay lube)
Apply liberally to the area that you are claying, reapplying regularly to prevent drying out and subsequent marring (micro scratching) from the clay.
Fine Grade Clay Bar. Our fine grade detailing clay comes in 200g bar size. Remove the protective plastic packaging and tear or cut a small portion from the bar, place the un used portion back into the case for safe keeping !. Kneed the clay until you have a piece that is approx 3-5 mm thick and covers an area of approx 3 fingers width once in the hand. Coat both sides of clay with the Berry Blast clay lube and place the clay on the area of the vehicle to be worked. Keeping to an area of approx 12×12 inches work the clay using a light pressure both vertically and horizontally. Ensure that the surface of the panel is kept well lubricated, reapplying the clay lube where neccesary, check the surface of the clay periodically for build up of contaminants. Once the clay has become covered, consider folding the clay into itself until a clean side is achieved or turn over onto the unused side. As the clay bar is used there should be a noticeable improvement in smoothness and sometimes a audible difference can also be heard as the contaminants are removed.
We do NOT recommend repeated folding as contaminants can protrude through the clay into the clean side causing marring or scratching. If a piece of clay is dropped it MUST be disposed of and a new piece used. We also recommend either rewashing the vehicle or using an IPA to remove any residue from the paintwork prior to machine polishing or application of protection.

We ship our worldwide parcels using a selection of couriers, once your order has been shipped you will receive an email informing you which shipping company has been used and also your tracking number which can be used on the applicable website.

Please note, if a parcel cannot be delivered and is returned to us, then we reserve the right to charge a redelivery fee in order to ship the parcel again.
Here at Autobrite Direct we understand that sometimes you need to send things back to us, either you have ordered them by mistake or you have received a faulty item.
Once you have received your parcel you then have 14 days to return any unwanted item to us for a full refund. Any delivery or return postage paid is non-refundable. Please enclose your proof of purchase with the item/s you are returning this will ensure you receive your refund promptly.
If you realise that you have ordered incorrectly before we ship your order then you can cancel your order with a full refund. Simply contact us via email or phone to cancel your order. Once the items have been shipped we are unable to cancel any orders and the goods will have to be returned to us.
We want all orders to get to our customers as safely and as quickly as possible but we also understand that sometimes items can get damaged during transit.
If you receive a damaged item in your parcel you must make a member of the Autobrite team aware as soon as possible. We will then arrange for a replacement item to be shipped out to you and in some cases we will arrange to have the damaged item collected from you. If this is the case simply pop the item back into the box it arrived in and we will let you know when the item will be collected.
If there are obvious signs of damage to the outer container when the delivery driver hands the parcel over to you then simply refuse the delivery. Please make us aware by email or telephone and we will re-send the items out to you.
Once we have received your returned item our returns department will inspect the item and if the item has been returned in an un-used condition ( except for damages) we will then process your refund. The refund will be processed using the payment method on the original order.
If an item becomes faulty you should contact us by email or phone to make us aware of the problem as soon as the fault occurs. All electrical items come with a 1 year manufacturers warranty, this does not include any wear and tear items. Items that are deemed a consumable item i.e towels, polishing pads, wash mitts and brushes only come with a 3 month warranty as they will be subject to wear and tear from usage.
Any faulty item must be returned to us where our returns department will inspect the item. If the item can be repaired under a manufacturers warranty, the item will be repaired and returned to you. Any item that is found to be faulty due to misuse will not be repaired until you have been informed of the costs involved. Delivery charges and return postage are non refundable. Please enclose a copy of your proof of purchase with your items.
